This Conference is for people who would like to know more about Fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue or their multitude of symptoms and how to reverse them. Fibromyalgia can mimic many other conditions. The summit’s main seminar is FREE and open to all people. You are welcome to invite your friends and family members who are having chronic health issues. Dr Congdon was diagnosed with fibromyalgia in 2008 after years of frequent migraines, neck and shoulder pain, dizziness, fatigue, and non-restorative sleep. Her symptoms were so severe she had to retire from her beloved pediatric practice. Happily, she found a combination of treatments that were so successful that she was able to return to practicing medicine at the end of 2009 — and chose to devote her time to the diagnosis, education, and treatment of fibromyalgia in children and adults.  To find out more about Dr. Congdon please go to

Part 1:  Dr. Congdon’s personal fibromyalgia story

What is the dress code for the event?

    Dress code is casual / business casual.  Suggested you wear layers. (in case of hyperactive A/C)

What is the weather expected to be in Colorado Springs

    The average hi is 84 and low is 55 in July.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

Minimum of age18.  Health care professionals will need ID for continuing education credit.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

There is a shuttle to and from the airport free for guests of the Hotel Elegante.

What can/can’t I bring to the event?

Please bring paper and pen. We will have the outline printed for you.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No, we will have a will call table.

What is the refund policy?

No refunds!  Money will be donated to the Fibromyalgia Recovery Foundation to pay for the cost of the meal.

The name on the registration/ticket doesn’t match the attendee. Is that okay?

Because tickets are transferable, that is fine but please have the new person check in.
